With Chapter 3, Season 1 of **Fortnite ** Battle Royale quickly coming to an end, Epic Games has granted players a last-minute opportunity to gain a fantastic amount of XP to help claim as much from the Battle Pass as possible before the season ends and get their money's worth. As a result, avian ambush week has arrived, and it's all about the chickens.

According to Epic Games, these seven chicken-related quests will remain in Fortnite until March 15th, just a few days before the season is scheduled to end. However, players can view the item shop tab within Battle Royale to check for any changes with the release date of the new season at the bottom of the page, as there has already been one delay in when the season will start.

It's best for players to complete these Fortnite season guide quests within the desert biome of the map as doing it this way will allow for multiple quests to be completed within a game if no other enemy players interfere. Catching the chickens to complete the quests will be easy as quite a few are scattered around the map. Klombos can also shoot them out of their blowhole alongside other items too, which is a fantastic bonus when almost all players on the map will be looking to complete at least one of these quests per game.

How To Complete Chicken Quests In FortniteHubZone Fortnite

  • Throw chickens: Throwing chickens is easy in Fortnite , and finding them too. For this quest, players will have to throw a total of five chickens for it to mark as completed. Unfortunately, throwing the same chicken multiple times will not count towards this challenge, so five different chickens will have to be thrown. However, it is good that players can complete this quest over multiple games, and players will not have to run around the map like a chicken themselves to find enough.

  • Slide for 30 meters continuously while holding a chicken: Sliding was added with Fortnite Chapter 3 and has definitely made gameplay a lot more immersive and fun. To complete this quest, players will just have to grab a chicken and slide 30 meters, which would be easier, of course, if sliding down a slope as momentum will continue even on those flat surfaces. Before attempting this, it's a good idea to ensure no enemy players are around, as swapping from holding a chicken can take a good few seconds, which may not be enough time for players to defend themselves.

  • Open a Vault while holding a chicken: Vaults are located at different places all over the Fortnite map and usually would require two players for the vault to open its doors to the generous amount of loot inside. However, holding a chicken in front o the identification scanner outside of a vault will open the vault and complete the quest.

  • Hunt a Loot Chicken or Crow: Loot crows and chickens can be distinguished by a glowing aura around them in either purple or gold. These animals will drop a weapon of the rarity of the set color alongside the usual couple slices of meat which players can use to regain health. Hunting either a chicken or a crow with those requirements will grant completion for this quest.

  • Fly with a chicken for 20 meters in a single flight: Flying 20 meters with a chicken in Fortnite may seem like a lot as when jumping with one, it seems to give the effect of a low gravity bounce, so there are two ways in which players can do this to make it that little bit easier. The first would be to take a chicken to a high point of the map, such as the top of a mountain, building, or windmill, then jump from there.
